First Review of Till My Last Breath

Till My Last Breath Book Cover

I’m so excited that I just have to share this good news. It’s every author’s hope & dream that 1) the book that you’ve poured your heart and soul into will sell, and 2) you receive favorable reviews from readers. Well, within 30 minutes of posting the availability of pre-ordering the e-version of my book on Sunday, November 1st, I received an e-mail from a new member of Women Writing the West, whom I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting, telling me she had just pre-ordered my book. I was already riding on cloud nine, but words can’t express how I felt after reading her message. I’d just sold my first copy. I still have to pinch myself to make sure this is all real.

Then today, I received my first review and my book has only been out 3 days.  “I loved your book! I read 3/4 of it in one sitting and finished in another. My favorite word, “piffle”. It reminded me of my dear, late mother in law. Congratulations on a wonderful job, well done.” S.K. Donovan 11/4/20.

Thank you seems too easy to write but I am grateful to these two women who made my day and all the long hours of writing, editing and re-writing well worth it and a catalyst to move me forward in completing book two in the Desert Hills Trilogy.

THANK YOU to everyone for all your Good Wishes.
